Nakamachi is a community organization that aims to revitalize Toba’s Nakamachi district, which still retains its Showa-era streetscape, and to create an exciting everyday space for its members, tourists, and citizens alike. In Nakamachi, many people run their businesses from the eaves of their houses, and many vacant houses are built in this way. Therefore, we are developing a community where these vacant houses can be utilized to create the next generation of merchants.
